Defaults, work categories, and options used across timesheets and reports.

Default start time

Pre-fills the start time when adding rows in Bulk Create.

Default end time

Pre-fills the end time when adding rows in Bulk Create.

Week starts on

Determines the week boundary used by weekly reports.

Work Categories

Categories group the jobs staff log time against (e.g. Picking, Pruning). When adding a timesheet, staff can always choose Hourly — that option is built in and needs no category here.

Units

Units of measure for piece-work quantities (e.g. Bins, Rows, kg). They are picked when quantities are entered in bulk timesheet entry.

Varieties

Crop varieties (e.g. apple cultivars) that can be assigned to a block on the client management screen. Deactivate a variety to hide it from new blocks while keeping it on blocks that already use it.
